A Message From Our Recruitment Chair:

Welcome to 2017 Kappa Recruitment! My name is Carlin, and I am thrilled to be the Kappa Kappa Gamma Recruitment Chair for Fall 2017.

I know I speak for the entire chapter when I say we can’t wait to meet you this upcoming August! Fall Formal Recruitment is one of the most exciting and anticipated events of the fall, where you’ll have the opportunity to get to know the amazing women in Greek Life here at UC Berkeley. Kappa is so excited to meet each and every one of you as we welcome you into our home to share the many aspects of our wonderful sisterhood. I know the recruitment process may seem overwhelming, but within Panhellenic’s thirteen chapters, I can assure you there is a place for everyone in this incredible community.

Joining Kappa has been one of the most fulfilling and enriching experiences of my time at Berkeley. Leaving the East Coast for California two years ago, I worried about the transition to a new state, a new campus, and a new student body. But immediately, I found myself welcomed into a sisterhood that has provided me with the most supportive group of ambitious, intelligent and involved women. These 120 women continuously uplift me, inspire me, and give me the confidence to succeed at Cal. As the spokesperson for Kappa Recruitment, I strongly encourage you to participate in this process. Being a part of Kappa and the Panhellenic Community has given me a home away from home and friendships that will last a life time.

I am so excited to meet all of you in August!
